Size: 10.75 x 13 Though the days and months are arranged in the standard order, life is never ordinary when it comes to The Far Side. And this year, Gary Larson has a real thriller in store. Bearing the telling title Scared Silly, this wall calendar presents a collection of cartoon panels that are certified 80 percent Ha Ha Ha (standard laugh) and 20 percent Mwwaa Ha Ha (evil laugh). The usual Saturday matinee stalwarts are all herewerewolves, mad scientists, monsters, et al.but this being The Far Side, you also get spider mobsters, sadistic cowboys, homicidal bowling balls, and the unspeakable horror of the La Brea Carpets. Clearly, this is not a calendar for the faint of heart.
